This requires you to come up with some sort of looping mechanic to constantly pull the players back in so there is always a challenge. You could make everything level as you do, but that is also not really solving the problem because it just gives the illusion of you getting stronger, but you really aren't. When you get stronger simply by fighting and leveling, you will eventually outgrow the game's content and run out of things to do because you are more powerful than anything in the game and you don't want that with a game that is meant to be played endlessly.

So the biggest question I see is "Why did they go from an XP leveling system to what they have now?" Well, simply put (and Wollay sort of explained this in a tweet a while back), XP leveling doesn't mix well with infinitely procedural gameplay, and we do see this in the alpha version of Cube World, along with it being an issue in other procedural games out there too. That being said, I wanted to talk about something that's been a recurring question and bring others in to discuss how they would do it differently or adjust fire to address their issues. I understand there are a lot of unhappy people, but lets try to suggest a good direction to take the game in, instead of making snide and unhelpful comments.
